HEZ Community Support Program

The CSP is HEZ's flagship community initiative that brings tangible benefits to the Hunter region through funding of community-focused projects. HEZ provides $30,000 to regional projects annually, which is split between two rounds of $15,000 in March and September every year.

To date, HEZ has funded a broad range of important community initiatives including regional literacy programs, youth events, programs for disabled children and their families and equipment for children's educational and sporting facilities.

A panel comprising of community and HEZ representatives assess every application and provide advice regarding allocation of funds to applicants. Priority is given to projects that address a local need and benefit a significant portion of the community. The HEZ CSP also looks to fund projects that without the funding from HEZ would be unable to implement their project.
